Randolph St., West Loop, 312-466-1000) for a tasting menu in honor of Spain’s Running of the Bulls—the dish lineup includes classics such as tortilla Española as well as the grilled sausage chistorra. The multi-course menu costs $65 and will be available through July 14.

Are you a beer fiend with cash to spare (or know of one)? Hopleaf’s got an intriguing collaboration dinner going tonight, a team effort between Solemn Oath and the Bruery with five food courses (duck breast with waffles, for one) and eight beers. It does, however, cost $100—nab tickets here.

So this thing called the Taste of Chicago starts today, overtaking Grant Park with all manner of edibles (and all manner of crowds as well). If you’re willing to brave the overwhelming fest, here’s the lineup of eats and music.

Starting today, the tasting room at Rhine Hall (2010 W. Fulton St., West Town, 312-243-4313) will be open for sipping and touring on Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m. This first edition may be an especially worthy time to visit—the distillery will be launching its brand-new pear brandy.
