There are now two bars in the space that, up until Memorial Day weekend, housed the iconic Boystown nightclub Spin. One is a dance club called Chloe's. The other is Whiskey Trust (3206 N. Halsted, Lake View), a craft cocktail bar and distilling operation that opened last week, just in time for this past weekend's Pride festivities.

In spite of its location, the spacious lounge isn't strictly a gay bar—it's just a welcoming place for anyone to sip on excellent drinks made with house-distilled liquors (you can see the distillation equipment in one corner of the bar). We particularly enjoyed their smoky take on a Manhattan and the spicy-sweet One Night in Bangkok.
