Morsels
Bringing the ampersand to a fast-food standard, the Longman & Eagle team announced the scheduled spring opening of Parson’s Chicken & Fish (2952 W. Armitage Ave., no phone yet). Or maybe instead of “announced,” that should say “copped to,” as Tasting Table’s Chicago editor, Heather Sperling, spilled the beans two days ago on Windy City Live. . . . Café Ba-Ba-Reeba! now sells its house-made bread from Ba-Ba-Bakery, a takeout counter within the restaurant. . . . Rosemont’s Fashion Outlets of Chicago, opening August 1, will include a third Chicago-area location for Prasino, plus the chain Italian restaurant Villagio, hailing from South Florida. . . . The Dish team sends well-wishes to the restaurateur Jason Chan, who is in treatment for throat cancer. Donate to a fundraiser in his name here.
