Morsels

City Tavern (1416 S. Michigan Ave., South Loop), the restaurant and bar from the team behind Chicago Firehouse, abruptly shut its doors yesterday according to a (very) short statement.

There’s a new Tuesday night deal at Two (1132 W. Grand Ave., West Town, 312-624-8363)—an order of their duck egg fettucine with duck confit, scallions, and Parmesan, plus one of their signature cocktails for $12.

And speaking of Tuesday savings, Inovasi (28 E. Center Ave., Lake Bluff, 847-295-1000) also added a weeknight special this week, with seven burgers available, including the Johnny Cash (blackened patty, smoked onions, pumpernickel bread, and blue cheese for $12, and a recommended additional shot of whiskey for $6.)
