There's no shortage of spots to get a cold drink and some tacos to take the edge off. Thing is, you generally couldn't find them in the Loop. Until now: Broken English Taco Pub (75 E. Lake St.) is here, ready to pour you some impressively strong margaritas for all your post-work imbibing needs.

Basically every inch of wall space is covered in murals (including one featuring JC Rivera's Bear Champ), giving the spot from Adolfo Garcia (Son of a Butcher Tavern) and Phil Stefani (Tavern on Rush, Riva Crab House) a festive look. The food and drinks are both reasonably priced, and there's some sidewalk seating available, too. This would make for an ideal stop before or after catching a show at the Chicago Theatre.
