June 12, 2010 – On June 12th, Heartland Alliance held the 17th annual Celebration of Home & Garden in Harbor Country, Michigan. Over 850 guests came out to enjoy the day and tour eight magnificent and unique properties. The tour began with check-in at Lovell & Whyte and concluded with a reception and silent auction at Burnison Galleries. The event was sponsored by Rika Yoshida and Joe Mansueto, the Sara Lee Foundation, and Chicago Home + Garden.

The 17th Annual Celebration of Home & Garden benefitted the work of Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights, an organization that helps people who are threatened by poverty or danger to improve their lives and realize their human rights.
