After a string of delays, the Matilda and Clutch crew debuted their latest project, a three-room gastropub housed by an historic River West building, earlier this month. On Saturday night, the cream cheese-topped Block Burgers flew out of the kitchen, and the craft brews and hand-shaken cocktails flowed, helping the crowd drown their sorrows over the day’s lamentable loss of D-Rose.
