The Property: Stacey Marks-Bronner has sold the 15-room Oak Park house she had owned for eight years. A longtime Chicago media executive, Marks-Bronner was named station manager at New England Cable News in November.

Built in 2001, the wood-sided house with a broad porch complements the older frame homes on its block within Oak Park’s Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District. It has six bedrooms. five-plus baths, a four-car garage, and fireplaces in the master bedroom, family room, and third-floor bonus room.

When Marks-Bronner bought the house from its builder in June 2001, she was the vice president and general manager of WFLD–Channel 32, the Fox-owned Chicago TV station; she had held that post since 1997. It was Marks-Bronner’s second tour of duty at the helm of Channel 32; she had run the station from 1993 until taking a post as executive vice president at Fox Broadcasting in 1996. She stayed there for about a year before returning to WFLD. While at WFLD, she also ran WPWR–Channel 50 in Aurora. Marks-Bronner left the stations in 2004, and in May 2008 she became publisher of Today’s Chicago Woman.

Marks-Bronner declined to comment on the sale, which closed December 9th. The buyers are not yet identified in public records.
