The Shops at North Bridge—home to the flagship Nordstrom on Michigan Avenue and roughly 50 other shops—announced plans to open a 15,000 square-foot Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio adjacent to food mega-emporium Eataly on Ohio Street (between Wabash Avenue and Rush Street). Construction on the new outlet store is slated to begin in April and the grand opening is tentatively set for August 2014. 

This is the city’s first outpost of the outlet, which currently has locations at Gurnee Mills and Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont. Expect to find in-season apparel and accessories purchased directly from designers such as Burberry, Equipment, Michael Kors, St. John, Helmut Lang, and Vince priced at 30 to 65 percent off.
