As I mentioned before in a previous post, Balenciaga is one of my all-time favorite lines, and I think Spring/Summer 2013 was one of Nicolas Ghesquiere’s absolute best.

One of my favorite pieces down the runway was this bustier. It’s super-sexy on its own with a high-waisted slim skirt or pants, and works equally as well with a fitted white T- shirt underneath.

It’s one of those pieces that is worthy of archiving—and not only because it is one from the last collection by a great designer at a venerable house (tear, sniffle). It’s been long sold-out in New York, but it’s still available in navy and on sale (!) at Blake.
