Aesop (1653 N. Damen Ave., aesop.com), the Australian skincare brand, has opened a shop in Bucktown. The 1,000-square-foot boutique marks the first Aesop shop in the Midwest, and its interior is inspired by the city’s grid pattern. The shop carries products for skin, body, and hair. New products include the Petitgrain Reviving Body Gel ($41), a cooling gel with a light citrus scent; there’s also the Sage & Zinc Facial Hydrating Cream ($40–$60), which has a lightweight texture and contains SPF 15.
Top Sales This Week
Coach (625 N. Michigan Ave., coach.com) is hosting its summer sale. The sale takes up to 50 percent off goods, which include satchels, carryalls, rucksacks, and wallets. The sale runs just a few more days, according to staffers, and is also running online.
Sandro (102 E. Oak St., sandro-paris.com) is hosting its official summer sale. Styles for men and women will be discounted by up to 50 percent. The sale will likely run through the end of July. Adjacent sister store Maje is hosting an identical sale.
The Spring/Summer Sale at Anne Fontaine (909 N. Michigan Ave., annefontaine.com) is running through June 19. The sale takes 30 to 50 percent off select styles, which include tops, dresses, skirts, and accessories.
Original Penguin (901 N. Rush St., originalpenguin.com) is holding a friends and family promotion that takes 30 percent off everything in the store—including T-shirts, swim trunks, and the printed “Cabana Shirt.”
Pop-Up
Luxury Garage Sale’s (luxurygaragesale.com) Highland Park pop-up shop opens on June 15, and will stay open until August 15. At 1833 2nd Street, the suburban shop will sell pieces from the likes of Chanel, Valentino, and Louis Vuitton; prices range from $100 to $10,000. Shoppers are also invited to drop off items for consignment.
